What are PVC windows?

PVC is vinyl polycloride. Its profiles, along with the glass, joints and careful installation, form a barrier against heat losses and air currents. A proper crystaling can also improve isolation against noise.

We compare the Uw value of the full window: the smaller, the better thermal insulation. The choice of low emission glass, solar control, opening and persian depends on each direction and housing. Maintaining a proper ventilation helps to control moisture.

Royal Decree 390/2021 regulates the certificate of energy efficiency.In general, the existing buildings or parts of buildings that are sold or rental to a new rental must have it, except for legal exceptions.The label must be included in the advertising in the cases provided and the corresponding documentation to the buyer or rental must be provided.

Directive (EU) 2024/1275 promotes the improvement of the residential park, but does not establish by itself an automatic ban on selling or renting housing with letters E, F or G in 2030 or 2033.

Renovating the windows can contribute to improving the energy behavior.The final letter determines it by a competent technician when evaluating the whole of the housing.
